Getting to and from airport
The Hilton Sydney hotel is located right in the heart of the Sydney CBD on George Street, close to shopping, entertainment and corporate offices. Just 30 minutes from Sydney International and Domestic airports and only 50m from Town Hall Station, Hilton Sydney is ideally located for business or leisure.
Taxis & shuttle bus
From Sydney Airport, taxis are available to take you directly to the Hilton Sydney hotel. The journey normally takes around 40 minutes and costs approximately $60-$65. Shuttle bus services are also available directly to the Hilton Sydney for approximately $22 per person each way. This can be organised upon arrival at the Domestic or International terminals.
If you are seeking a public transport option, there is a train station located at both the Sydney Domestic and International Airports with a direct line to the city. Exit the train at Town Hall Station and the Hilton Sydney hotel is located adjacent to the Victoria Galleries, entry via Pitt Street or George Street, Travelling time is around 25 minutes and costs approximately $17 per adult each way.
There is a multitude of dining options within the vicinity of Hilton Sydney hotel. In the heart of the city you’ll find some of Sydney’s best and most well-known restaurants, including the famed Quay at Circular Quay. Tucked beneath the sails of the Sydney Opera House, Peter Gilmore’s Bennelong also offers great harbour vistas, accompanied by a menu filled with fine Australian produce.
English, the national and most widely spoken language in Australia, is the official language of the conference.
Due to one-way road systems on George Street, please note that car access to Hilton Sydney is via Pitt Street only. Please program 255 Pitt Street if using a car navigational device. There is a secure underground car park located at Hilton Sydney. This carpark is owned and managed by Secure Parking. Self parking fee is $55.40 for 24 hours from time of entry. Hilton Valet Parking is available for $79 for 24 hours or enter the carpark directly and Secure Parking staff will park the car for you at casual parking rates.
The conference hosts and organisers have arranged for photography onsite throughout the conference. The images may be used for post-conference reports, case studies, marketing collateral and supplied to industry media if requested. If you do not wish for your photo to be taken, please inform an Arinex staff member at the registration desk onsite.
Goods and services tax (GST)
All prices quoted on this website are inclusive of 10% GST (Goods & Services Tax), unless otherwise specified. GST applies to most goods and services in Australia.
Sydney shops open from 0900 to 1700 during the week with late night shopping on Thursday. On Saturdays and Sundays most shops are open from 0900 to 1900. Shopping highlights in Sydney include the world famous Queen Victoria Building (QVB), Westfield Sydney, The Galleries Victoria (TGV), Pitt Street Mall, Darling Habour and The Rocks.
Australia introduced the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2012 in March 2014. The conference managers comply with such legislation which is designed to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information. Information collected in respect of proposed participation in any aspect of the conference will be only used for the purposes of planning and conduct of the conference and may also be provided to the organising body or to organisers of future events. It is also usual to produce a ‘delegate list’ of attendees at the conference and to include the individual’s details in such a list. Consent for publication of the individual’s information may be withheld when completing the registration form for the conference. Individuals are also entitled to access the information held by written application to the conference managers.
All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia. Welcome letters can be requested from firstname.lastname@example.org following the completion of your conference registration.
